Trail Running 101

On April 11  at 10 am Running Fit's own Nick B. will be teaching a Trail Running 101 class at Maybury State Park in Northville Michigan

This is the Free  30 Min clinic that will take place prior to the KEGS N EGGS(and scrambled legs) event.

Format: We will begin with a trail specific lesson followed multiple running options.

What you should bring: Running Shoes, Water Bottle, Towel, and come dressed to run

Yoga for Runners- A2


Join us at Running Fit Ann Arbor-West for our Yoga for Runners Class with Marty every Saturday at 9:30 am

This class will a focus on poses that will help you run more efficiently and stay injury free.

Meet the teacher:

Marty is a 200 Hour RTY certified Power Vinyasa Yoga instructor, a NASM certified personal trainer, and CPR certified. Marty has been involved in the fitness community for over 25 years. She has been a passionate runner for over 27 years and she considers running a form of moving meditation that is a wonderful compliment to the practice of Yoga. Aside from Yoga, Marty has weight trained for over 18 years and is an avid rock climber.

Marty's take on Yoga:

As a runner, I was pretty skeptical of yoga. But what I discovered was that yoga can center, balance, focus and strengthen you. Many of us have become disconnected with our bodies, and yoga helps re-establish that dialogue and connection between body and mind. It is a work-out but also a work-in. External strength simultaneously creates internal strength, and a serene and peadeful core. Yoga helps develop a sort of "body intuition." Your body has an inherent intelligence to bring about a perfect state of equilibrium. This awareness translates both on and off the mat. It can be carried into your day to day living. My job is to help facilitate this 3000 year old practice, and it truly is an honor to participate in this exciting proces.
