Running 101 Classes Running 101 is now an 8 Week, 8 Session class. All Classes Start with a group run and are followed with a clinic that usually lasts 30 min - 45 min. Courses all lead up to a goal 5K race. If you are concerned about being intimidated by joining a running club or entering a race, this class is for you. Meet runners like yourself in a fun, informative atmosphere. Our hope is to motivate, inform and get you addicted to running! OUR GOAL To get you started in a running program tailored to your personal goals and abilities along with the information and motivation necessary for you to maintain your training for life. It's never too late to start! A WEEKLY RUN Every week before class, rain or shine at 6:30pm we run together. Come dressed to run. We don't care if you've never run a single step -- this is the place to start! We guarantee you will have fun. INFORMATIVE CLASSES AND RUNNING MANUAL On training, injury prevention, equipment, nutrition, form, stretching, mental preparation, keeping logs and records, entering races and much more. FUN PEOPLE, NEW FRIENDS One of the most fantastic side benefits of running... hanging out with healthy people. Sure, there are a few snobs in every crowd, but for the most part, physically fit people have a better attitude.
